Some books that we found interesting and useful:

Getting Pregnant When You Thought You Couldn't by Helane S. Rosenberg, PH.D. and Yakov M. Epstein, PH.D.

Excellent reference for the various techniques of IVF.  Describes the various medications used and has chapters on emotional and financial issues.  Also has many worksheets and a questions-and-answers section.  Our friends recommended this book to us and we found it to be so good that we're now recommending it to you.

Dr. Richard Marrs' Fertility Book by Richard Marrs, M.D., and Lisa Friedman Bloch and Kathy Kirtland Silverman

This book explains in detail the human reproductive system from both male and female perspectives.  Very detailed explanations of the hormonal cycles, causes of infertility, and treatments.  Gonal-F®  was not in production when this book was published, so it is only mentioned as "future" technology in assisted reproductive technology.  Otherwise, this is a great book.

Hundreds of photographs from conception to birth, from inside the human body.  This is a fantastic reference.  It has a small chapter at the end about IVF.
